What Maitreya builds

Maitreya Inc. operates two products: likeu (likeuapp.com) for personal connection and SlowBurn (slowburn.network) for professional networking. Both use the same trust infrastructure and the same AI mediator, Dora. This policy covers both products.

What we collect

When you talk to Dora, we collect:

• Your conversation messages
• Insights extracted from the conversation (themes, needs, language patterns)
• Your email address, if you choose to share it
• A random session ID (not tied to your real-world identity)

We do not collect your name, location, IP address, or device identifiers.

How we use it

• To build your profile from what you shared
• To find people who carry similar things and connect you with them
• To improve Dora and the platform
• To notify you when we find a connection (only if you share your email)

We never sell your data. We never publish your conversation. We never use your words in marketing without explicit permission.

AI and data processing

Dora is powered by Anthropic’s Claude. Anthropic does not use API data to train their models and does not retain your messages after processing. We extract structured insights at the end of each conversation and store them in our database.

Service providers

• Anthropic — powers Dora. Does not train on your data.
• Supabase (AWS) — stores conversations and insights.
• Vercel — hosts both products. Anonymous usage analytics only.
• Resend — sends email notifications if you share your email.

Your rights

• Stop the conversation at any time
• Choose not to share your email
• Request deletion of all your data by emailing hello@maitreya.company

Safety

If a conversation touches on active danger, Dora provides crisis resources and the session is flagged for team review. If someone discloses active abuse or harm to a child, we may be legally required to report it. We will only share the minimum information required.
